Welcome to Bayou's review blog.
This blog will be filled with my reviews of books, movies, etc.
But keep in mind that the reviews will be total subjective from my point of view.
So, I might use rude words to describe something I hate,
and perhaps too exaggerate things I love.
I also putting some fanarts of books, games, movies here.
I hope you can enjoy visiting and lurking around this blog.
Cheers,

I always said that there were no 'original' things exist anymore in this world. Somewhat one idea could emerged in several heads, and depends on who publish it first, s/he was the one who had the what-so-called-original. The thing is, how you make the unoriginal idea, new. This book contains everything it needed in "how to look 'new' with 'old' ideas".
It contain myths, legends, folktales, folklore, stories, bedtime stories, etc, and merged it into one, it also gives the readers the new perspective of stories. It was very interesting! I love how Owen made many famous writers in the whole world into characters in the book. ^^
While reading this, I was playing with myself, how many stories that I could recognize in it. [Well, I was able to guess around 75% of it]
Until half book, the story seemed dragging and took forever, but when it reached the last 1/3 book, it was getting interesting. And the final 'kick' in the last pages was quite surprising! For a book lover like me, it was hilariously amazing. I'm giving 2 thumbs up for the author of this book for his creativeness and all his effort in finding many sources of stories to write this book. Well done!
It was recommended for bored book lovers who wants to find a refreshing idea that seems 'new'.
